Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service whereby a user in one library can borrow books, articles, and other items from another library.
SUNY Erie partners with other libraries to loan our materials and to borrow their materials. This service greatly expands the amount of items we can provide. As a user, you make the request at your SUNY Erie library or from the internet. SUNY Erie library staff will then process the request and notify you when your item arrives.
You can also request Interlibrary loans directly through the IDS catalogs.

We are a WNYLRC AcademicSHARE library. Therefore, AcademicSHARE Member libraries agree to allow on-site access and lend materials to any current college student, staff, and/or faculty member from another WNYLRC member academic library. However, at minimum, a verifiable valid college I.D. is required. The library may choose to treat the college I.D. as confirmation the student/faculty member is in good standing.
