Open Educational Resources at SUNY Erie: SUNY OER Services / Open NYS

Learn how to find and use OER materials in teaching and learning.

SUNY OER Services

SUNY OER Services supports OER initiatives at SUNY campuses with ready-to-adopt OER courses and textbooks available to them and their students at no cost through our partnership with Lumen Learning to provide resources and a collaborative community for the adoption and development of new open educational resources.

Open SUNY Textbooks, an initiative that has been active since 2012 and has saved SUNY students over $840,000, recently announced a new component to its efforts to produce and distribute open educational resources (OER).
