Since the summer of 2020, the Greater Buffalo Racial Equity Roundtable’s Rapid Response Policy Task Force has been monitoring legislation aligned with the Roundtable’s 10-Pt agenda for support. Recently, they were notified that legislation to create an Office of Racial Equity in the NYS Executive Branch and legislation requiring Implicit Bias Training for all NYS workers, Co-Sponsored by Senator Tim Kennedy and Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes, passed the NYS Senate.
