American Society of Registered Nurses (ASRN) ASRN brings together nurses from all fields of inquiry, regions, and specializations both inside and outside academia in order to expand the study and practice of nursing, and offer support, resources, education, and distinction to its members.
Emergency Nurses Association The mission of the Emergency Nurses Association is to advocate for patient safety and excellence in emergency nursing practice.
National League for Nursing Dedicated to excellence in nursing education, the National League for Nursing is the preferred membership organization for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education.
National Student Nursing Association (NSNA) NSNA is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students.
New York State Nurses Association The New York State Nurses Association is the nation's oldest and largest state professional association for registered nurses. It also is New York's largest union solely dedicated to promoting the interests of RNs and their patients.
Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York The Visiting Nursing Association (VNA) is the leading provider of superior quality home health services serving the eight western counties of New York State. NCLEX Examinations - Information & Registration
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) developed the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN licensure examinations. These exams are used by its Member Boards to test the entry-level nursing competence of candidates for licensure as registered nurses and as licensed practical/vocational nurses.

American Nurses Credentialing Center
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is the largest and most prestigious nurse credentialing organization in the world. ANCC certification exams validate nurses’ skills, knowledge, and abilities. More than a quarter million nurses have been certified by ANCC since 1990. More than 75,000 advanced practice nurses are currently certified by ANCC. ANCC offers nursing certification in 26 different specialties.
